The Process
If a company believes AIESEC’s services may be helpful, the first step is to contact AIESEC Arizona’s Vice President of Business Development, Cole Wirpel, either by email at info.aiesecaz@gmail.com, or by phone at 520-971-5423.
Representatives of AIESEC’s Business Development team then arrange a meeting to find how an AIESEC traineeship can best contribute to our potential client’s goals.
Once we understand exactly what kind of candidate our client is looking for, AIESEC designs and distributes an application to our global network, from which thousands of highly qualified candidates can apply.
AIESEC examines the received applications and brings the top finalists to our clients. Companies can conduct phone interviews or ask for additional information from these candidates to make the final selection. Importantly, there is absolutely no charge to our clients until we source a satisfactory candidate.
If our client is satisfied that AIESEC has sourced a candidate that will contribute to their company, AIESEC informs the applicant. We then sponsor the visa of the selected candidate, or trainee, and assist them with the paperwork and steps necessary to bring them to the United States as soon as possible.
When the trainee arrives, AIESEC has a detailed reception program, which includes airport pick-up, finding housing, applying for a Social Security number, opening a bank account, and more.
Once the trainee starts working, AIESEC maintains a close relationship to make sure that our clients are benefitting as much as possible from our partnership. Because of the affordability of our services, our continual work with our clients beyond delivery, and the high quality of our trainees, our clients often choose to continue to our partnerships, and we start the process all over again.
