Members

Members of AIESEC Arizona are hardworking, dedicated, and motivated individuals who develop outstanding leadership abilities, expand their world views, and connect to thousands of AIESECers around the world in a global network. They work by building relationships with local and international corporations, learning about their international needs, and writing contracts to bring interns to Arizona. They work by providing the students enrolled in Arizona universities access to real, paid, international internships. They work by planning outstanding events focused on bringing international culture and traditions to Arizona. In doing so, they illuminate our campuses to important current world issues. Members of AIESEC Arizona find supportive friends and colleagues with whom they will form life-long friendships.

Exchange Participants

AIESEC’s Exchange Participants find paid international internships through our world wide internship database. They gain the opportunity to work in more than 100 countries where AIESEC has corporate partners. Upon arrival, exchange participants will be greeted by native AIESEC members who welcome them into the local culture. Throughout the internship, which can last from two to eighteen months, the AIESEC exchange participant will find their world turned upside down, giving them the opportunity to develop themself into an international leader.

Teams

Every member of AIESEC Arizona is required to join one of our four teams, which work on the different functions of an AIESEC chapter. The four teams are: Incoming Exchange; Outgoing Exchange; Events; and Human Resources.

Incoming Exchange

Members of the Incoming Exchange are responsible for making contacts with local businesses to see if they are interested in hiring an AIESEC trainee into their business. The Incoming Exchange team is also responsible for putting together the contract when a successful sale is made, and sourcing talent from the AIESEC database for these contracts, as well as organizing the reception of new trainees.

Outgoing Exchange

Members of the Outgoing Exchange team are responsible for assisting members of the AIESEC Arizona chapter obtain international internships through the AIESEC database. They are responsible for maintaining contacts with AIESEC chapters around the world, understanding the complete exchange process, and promoting the exchange experience on campus.

External Relations

The External Relations team is responsible for representing AIESEC to the greater community. They do work with marketing and branding, and maintain relationships with the AIESEC alumni network. They also maintain relationships with the university and its different departments, and are responsible for organizing campus- and community-wide events.

Talent Management

The Talent Management team is responsible for making sure that each and every member of AIESEC Arizona is active, engaged, and getting the full AIESEC Experience. They organize trainining events to make sure each member has the knowledge needed to be successful, and monitor each member's individual goals within the organization. They also take charge of our recruitment cycles, making sure that AIESEC Arizona maintains a constant pipeline of top talent.

AIESEC Arizona recruits for new members at the beginning of each semester. We recruit for interns to go abroad at all times during the year.
